“Writer/performers like Jeanette Wormald… are crucial to any understanding of “Australian-ness” and what makes this nation and its people unique.” Rob Woodard, SCALA

Jeanette Wormald has performed at leading festival, music and tourism events around Australia.
Audiences warm to her powerful stage presence, earthy humour and evocative songs.
Her music is perfect for prestige events, dinners or corporate occasions.
She is joined by some of SA’s most respected musicians and her band features guitars, mandolin, violin, bass and harmonies.

SEMINARS/MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKING:

Jeanette has extensive experience as a motivational speaker at seminars across regional Australia. She believes in the power of positive thinking. A patron of the Riverland Domestic Violence Action Group, she speaks on issues such as overcoming adversity, life as a rural woman and her own story of overcoming domestic violence. She combines her story with songs inspired by her life journey.

WORKSHOPS:

Jeanette is also able to present song writing, singing and bush dancing workshops. She has worked widely with primary and secondary school students and has experience as a Contemporary Music Pathways tutor.
Jeanette has also worked extensively with Aboriginal communities in SA, helping them to celebrate culture and indigenous language through song writing and performance workshops. She acts as a management consultant to Anangu band The Desert Oaks from Oak Valley, organising gigs and performance opportunities on their behalf.
